A possible American production pathway

A possible American production pathway

The working hypothesis is to evaluate U.S. final assembly or deeper manufacturing for a future Jetour market entry. A viable plan would depend on manufacturer authorization, regulatory and safety compliance, trade policy, capital, demand, logistics, and a durable sales-and-service network. This page is an invitation to explore feasibility—not a claim that a plant or launch is underway.

Potential states

An initial screen could compare South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Michigan for automotive talent, suppliers, port or rail access, sites, and market reach. No location is selected.

Incentives to evaluate

State and local job-creation grants, workforce training, site and infrastructure support, and eligible tax programs merit review. Availability and terms would require direct diligence; none is secured.

Partners to engage

Potential conversations include contract assemblers, established automotive suppliers, logistics operators, site owners, and state economic-development teams. No partner is committed or implied.

Why I’m leading this initiative

Why I’m leading this initiative

I’m Kamal Haykal. I created this independent resource to bring together evidence of U.S. consumer demand and interest from dealers, suppliers, manufacturers, and economic-development organizations. My role at this stage is to convene conversations and test whether a credible path exists—not to represent Jetour or Chery. Any formal project would require direct authorization and agreements with the relevant parties.
